But he's only gotten "story editor" credit once since then. Make of that what you will.

ChrisChris Barathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06845538037091279990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4357793224370188597.post-80950080977040890572012-07-14T13:07:38.183-04:002012-07-14T13:07:38.183-04:00Chris, Joe, 'rehab, Gregory, et al:
Yeah, as ...Chris, Joe, 'rehab, Gregory, et al:

Yeah, as a "consultant" (whatever that actually entailed...), I would suspect that Jymn's role was tangential. I suspect (and hope!) that he was in no position to truly shape and influence the production (and from the sound of it, the best realization of the premise's potential would have been to scrap the whole thing and forget about it!) Or, in other words, he wasn't the (if you'll excuse the pretentious term!) auteur, as he was in the cases TaleSpin, A Goofy Movie, or "Treasure of the Golden Suns". I like to think that those were his babies, and this was just a gig.

I like this post "motif", too. And considering two of the three images used, it's a nice little Mike Judge homage! :)

'rehab -- even though I'm not deaf either, I, too, like to watch DVDs with the subtitles on. Keeps me focused and at attention, much in the same way as when I'm doing "regular" reading, and helps if it's, say, a British movie with thick accents or an older movie with poor sound and dated lingo.

-- RyanRyan Wynnshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00477919968924048814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4357793224370188597.post-18079731605641160612012-07-14T08:37:02.866-04:002012-07-14T08:37:02.866-04:00When I saw this through IMDB; my reaction was this...When I saw this through IMDB; my reaction was this:

So much for hitting rock bottom with Quack Pack; the barrel has shifted again.

And this was a number of years ago; so it's not like I didn't know about this before. But damn; talk about killing your marketability. Even the Pound Puppies movie had captions!

I remember SNL made fun of this in "TV Funhouse" "Tidy" right? A talking Titanic, with Gilbert Gottfried as the voice of Napoleon Bonaparte as sidekick to an evil talking iceberg.Comicbookrehabhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09363501054869978524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4357793224370188597.post-60385197400332965742012-07-13T14:24:16.961-04:002012-07-13T14:24:16.961-04:00I could only guess Jymn's contribution was som...I could only guess Jymn's contribution was some 11th-hour fix to connect it more with the first film by having them revisit the NIMH Lab, because the final act is a big shift from all the precocious sing-songness of the first 2/3's. It's like a rejected script from a "Pinky & The Brain" episode, with Eric Idle as Snowball, or Pinky becoming Snowball.Comicbookrehabhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09363501054869978524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4357793224370188597.post-14335153005043944892012-07-13T13:31:59.013-04:002012-07-13T13:31:59.013-04:00CBRehab,
